Queen is one of rock’s most iconic bands. Its legend has only grown in recent years thanks to the 2018 Academy Award-winning biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.

The band formed in 1970, and in 1973, they released their self-titled debut album. After that, Queen released six more albums in the ’70s: 1974’s Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack; 1975’s A Night at the Opera; 1976’s A Day at the Races; 1977’s News of the World; and 1978’s Jazz.

The ’80s saw Queen flirt with more pop elements but still maintain their unique identity. Among the albums released that decade was 1980’s The Game and Flash Gordon, 1982’s Hot Space, 1984’s The Works, 1986’s A Kind of Magic and 1989’s The Miracle.

February 1991 gave us Innuendo, the final Queen album released before singer Freddie Mercury’s untimely death on November 24, 1991. The album’s final single was “The Show Must Go On,” which was released a little over a month before Mercury died. The moving music video showed Queen over the years.

Like many other classic rock bands, Queen has increased their merchandise offerings over the years to match their legendary catalog. Some of their best merch items are, of course, their array of t-shirts and other clothing. Here are seven Queen shirts and other items that, just like them, are a kind of magic.

  • 'I Want to Break Free' T-Shirt

Freddie Mercury in bad housewife drag but still rocking a mustache is a mood way ahead of its time, like pretty much most things Freddie did.

  • 'Bohemian Rhapsody' T-Shirt

Queen has a number of classic band photos, and this one featured on the single artwork for “Bohemian Rhapsody” is one of the best. The shirt coming in a cream/off-white color adds to the vintage vibe.

  • Queen Logo Zip-Up Hoodie

At first glance, this zip-up hoodie appears to be minimalist with the small logo on the front. However, the massive crest logo on the back of the hoodie is simply stunning.

  • 'News of the World' T-Shirt

The bizarre, eye-catching artwork from sci-fi artist Frank Kelly Freas featured on the cover of 1977 News of the World is further immortalized in this t-shirt.

  • Freddie Mercury Sunglasses T-Shirt

It’s amazing how one man could be so damn cool. Even in a pair of aviators, Freddie Mercury could stop traffic. This shirt is a wonderful tribute to an icon that will truly live forever.

  • 'Keep Yourself Alive' T-Shirt

This shirt goes all the way back to the very beginning with Queen’s self-titled 1973 debut album. The tee features the band’s crest logo along with the phrase “Keep Yourself Alive,” the title of Queen’s debut single.

  • Queen Bathrobe

This is quite literally the most lush and comfy way to show off your Queen fandom. The robe comes in three sizes: Small/Medium, Medium/Large, and Large/X-Large.
